Rested xp makes a lot of sense to me...
Spend some time in an inn or major city instead of logged out in the middle of nowhere and win! In real life if you were just kick it in the middle of nowhere I'm sure that you would have a less than enjoyable experience. Random mobs would come up and harass you at night, and the random weather effects probably don't help out either.
So where would we get rested xp irl? I think that one place that we could get rested xp would be in our homes. Its quite comfortable there, and usually that's the place we lie our heads down at night. The home and family are very important to our Heavenly Father. I know that the home is our first place of learning. It is a place were we can get rested xp irl. Imagine going home to learn about the dangers that lie outside! It would give you so much more the advantage when you are out in the world!
Another place that I feel that we could get rested xp irl would be in Church. When Christ came to the people here on the American continent, as recorded in the Book of Mormon 3 Nephi 18:21-22 he said:
21. Pray in your families unto the Father, always in my name, that your wives and your children may be blessed.
22. And behold, ye shall meet together oft; and ye shall not forbid any man from coming unto you when ye shall meet together, but suffer them that they may come unto you and forbid them not;
Meeting together oft has been required of the Lord's covenant people from the beginning. Ever since the world was created the Sabbath day has been set forth as a day for us to rest and to devote to God our Father.What better place to rest and learn about the evils that can overwhelm us then in the Lord's house?
