Rise Above Mediocrity: Stop Keyboard Turning and S-Keying

Movement in WoW is a big thing! Imagine running away from a huge group of Alliance that is running towards you. Maybe your first instinct would be to use the s-key, which moves your character backwards. Or then again, a better answer might be to use the "a" or "d" keys to turn around, and then use the "w" key to run away. Both would work if you were trying to get away, but they are not the best answer!

So what is the best answer? How do we get away from enemy players or mobs that are trying to harm us without backpedaling slowly using the s-key? Or how can we turn faster than using the "a" or "d" keys? The answer is very simple!..
It is to use the mouse to turn. It is something so simple that it might even get overlooked! We know that the left mouse button in WoW is used quite a bit to click on objects on the screen (hopefully you're not clicking your abilities), but if the right mouse button is held down, and the mouse moved to the side, your character will turn! Then, after turning you can either run or strafe away!

Rise Above It!
A lot of times in life, I think that we suffer from picking a good answer, but probably not the best one. Mediocrity is generally well excepted in the world that we life in. This poses the question "Should we settle for mediocrity, or should we rise up and become better?" Think about it for a second. As a representative of Jesus Christ, I know that we are to rise up and emulate our Savior. In 3 Nephi 12:48, Christ exhorts us to "be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect." Our life on earth is a time for us to learn and grow. It is a time for us to become more like our Savior Jesus Christ, and our Father in Heaven. In the hymn "Rise Up O Men of God" the hymn states "Rise up O men of God! Tread were his feet have trod! As Brothers of the Son of Man, Rise up, O men of God"

In closing, I would just like to echo the words of the hymn and rise up! Rise above mediocrity. Stop keyboard turning and s-keying in real life. Learn to play and continue to become a better player!
