Enduring to the end

Imagine yourself in a very intense raid right now and you and your raid group keeps dieing. There comes a point in time where you are thinking "Ok its time for me to quit this raid and go do something else." What do you do? Do you leave the raid and go do something else or do you give this boss fight one more go around?
Well if you are like me my response would be like Leeroy Jenkins, "Lets do this chumps!" Ok so you give this raid boss one more shot and you guys finally down the boss! (Down meaning beat.) So stop yourself and think this over... you beat this boss that has some really epic loot and an awesome mount out of it, how do you think you would feel? If you are like me or any WoW Player you would be really excited knowing that you were able to down one of the hardest bosses in all of WoW! You might be thinking "wow that was a very enduring task that you had to go through." If that is the response you gave then yes! You are right. When it comes to a raid you have to be able to endure the long gruesome hours of trying to defeat bosses as well as working with quite a bit of people all at the same time.
Today I want to talk about something that is probably one of the hardest things that we could ever do in this life and that is what Christ and all of the prophets have talked about and that is enduring to the end...
The Book of Mormon prophets make mention of enduring to the end a lot. In 2Nephi 31:15-16 Nephi says this about enduring to the end.
15And I heard a voice from the Father, saying: Yea, the awords of my Beloved are true and faithful. He that bendureth to the cend, the same shall be saved.
16And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless a man shall aendure to the end, in following the bexample of the Son of the living God, he cannot be saved.

That is pretty powerful to know that the Father even says that who ever is faithful and endures to the end the same shall be saved, in 3rdNephi 27:6 Jesus Christ our Savior gives the same teaching to His disciples here on the American continent. 6And whoso taketh upon him my name, and aendureth to the end, the same shall be saved at the last day.

You might be thinking at this point, "I have heard a lot about enduring to the end Elder Butler, But I am still a little curious what that means." My friends if this is the case let me clarify in modern and simple words what it means to endure to the end. Enduring to the end means that we continue to read our scriptures, go to church every Sunday and keep it holy, keep the commandments that God has given to us, be kind and loving to our neighbors and to our families, when people are making fun of us we do not become ashamed to be apart of Christ's church. Also apart of enduring to the end is doing what the Lord would have us do, even though it might not be something that we want to or if our friends or families might not understand it. That my friends is what enduring to the end is. Doing the things that the Lord would have us do.  My friends and family the Lord wants us to return to live with our Heavenly Father, and he has provided a way for us to do so, it is through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ that we can repent of our sin. I know that if we endure to the end and remain faithful we will return once again to live with our Heavenly Father.
