Obedience and WoW Terms of Service

World of Warcraft Terms of Service
As you log into WoW after a fresh new patch, you are greeted with an updated terms of service (ToS) for World of Warcraft. Most likely you'll just scroll to the end without reading one bit of it, but I'd venture to say that there are some pretty important things in there. Terms of service outline expectations on the part of both the user and service provider. So in a sense Blizzard says "If you don't break these the rules you'll be able to play the game and use the service that we provide." Similarly the player says, "I'll keep these rules Blizz so I can pwn noobs in the face."
"lolcat" ToS
Similarly, God gives us "terms of service". Have you ever received an awesome blessing in your life that you were thankful for? Chances are that blessing came from being obedient to one of our Heavenly Father's commandments.
In the Book of Doctrine and Covenants Section 130:20-21 we are taught:

20
There is a law, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated—
21
And when we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.

When we obey the commandments that we are given, blessings come. God is bound to give them the same as Blizzard is bound to provide service to players that keep the terms that they have set. I know that God loves us, and we show our love for him by keeping the commandments that he has given us (John 14:15). By keeping God's commandments we can receive blessings and greater joy in our lives. I know this is true because I have seen blessings and happiness come as I keep the commandments!
